The Two Loose Pigments are Rock Star && Yeyo.
The 24/7 Shadow Pencil is Clash.
And the Two Lipsticks are 5150 && Jail bait.

Electric is my 3rd Matte Shadow by Urban Decay.
And I have to say I am totally digging on it.
Bright color pay off and extremely blendable.

Rockstar && Yeyo I'm not extremely gaga over.
They need more playing with I think.

5150 && Jail Bait are superb.

I think I have fallen in love with The Body Shop Coconut Body Wash.
As well as the Origins Zero Oil Cleanser.

Got2B Mini Hair Spray is the perfect touch up spray after the gym if you don't get TOO sweaty.

The Body Shop Rain Forest Radiance Shampoo && Conditioner are good.
But I think I might be allergic to them.
:'(

The Body Shop Coconut Body Wash smells AMAZING!!
It's ultra moisturizing and doesn't leave a funky film after rinsing.

The Body Shop Deodorant works very well.
It keeps me dry and fresh through out the day.

Got2B Dry Shampoo might be my new favorite dry shampoo!!
It doesn't leave your hair looking like you threw baby powder in it.
It just gives the hair a refreshes look between washings.

Origins Full Story Mascara is STELLAR!!
It lengthens and separates.
With Minimum clumping!

Origins Brighter By Nature is a skin tone correcting serum.
Which helps even out skin tone.
I can see minor results within the past few weeks.

Origins Modern Friction is a terrific scrub.
I use it every few days.
And it keeps my skin smooth and soft.

Origins Zero Oil cleanser is my go to cleanser after the gym.
It washes away all the gunk in my pores after I've gotten all gross in the gym.

10 Things About Me Tag // Award.

I'm going to say I'm VERY sorry for my hiatus.
I miss blogging so much.
And I hope this is my REAL return.
So much has been going on.
I just haven't had time it seems to blog.
But I miss you all very much soo!!

The lovely Angelica tagged me in a 10 Things About Me post.
So here it goes!!

In no particular order.

1.) I make mixed media framed artwork for fun.I've always loved making art.
But recently I started using Vintage Vinyl Record Covers that I had that were beat up and turning them into Altered works of art.

This is one of the pieces I made.
Out of a German Map.
A piece of vintage lace.
Sequins.
And a Lewis Carrol Quote.
"If you don't know where you are going, Any road will get you there."
It's one of my favorite quotes by one of my favorite authors.

2.) I am the face of a Photography Studio.

This is the photo that is on the business cards.
I love this photo of me.
Not to sound vain or anything.
But I look DAMN GOOD!!

3.) I'm planning on going to Comicon NYC 2011 this year.

This is who I plan on "dressing up" as.
Tank Girl!!!
She's my all time favorite comic book EVER!!
He-He-He

A bunch of friends and I plan on going to Comicon NYC 2011 on October 15th!!
I'm so amped.
I can't wait to go!!!!!!!

4.) My favorite scent from Bath && Body Works is White Tea && Ginger.

This has been my all time favorite scent by Bath && Body Works since I was about 15.
Unfortunately they don't carry it in the store anymore!!
So I've got to order it offline.
Which chews sometimes when it's not on sale and I run out.
:'(
But it smells so good.
Even in the Fall && Winter months.

5.) I LOVE HELLO KITTY MORE THEN ANYONE YOU KNOW!!!

I've got her tattooed on my chest!!
Because I love her that much.
And I love Kawaii things.
So why not getting her tattooed on me?!?!

6.) I'm getting my 13th tattoo ASAP.

I'm getting the OM symbol on my inner left bicep.
To remind me to always stay calm.
It's very important to me.
Because I've got severe anxiety issues.
And this will hopefully help with them.
By reminding me to stay calm.
And to breathe.

7.) Urban Decay is my all time favorite cosmetic line.

I've been in love with there products for a while now.
I adore there palettes.
As well as there lipsticks.
I love that most of there products are VEGAN.
And the color pay off well that speaks for itself.
:D

8.) I went to Bonnaroo 2010 for my 21st birthday.

One of the photo's from the photo shoot they did at Bonnaroo!!
It was one of the most amazing experiences I've ever had.
Tennessee is stunning.
And being able to see all of the bands and performers I got to see was completely jaw dropping.
My favorite artist I saw was most likely Jeff Beck.
I unfortunately don't have ANY photo's from that trip.
Because my stupid camera's batteries died before I got a chance to take any real pictures.
[[ HEAD DESK ]]

9.) I've had just about EVERY hair style and color known to man kind.

This was by far my favorite hair style though.
It was a black mohawk with blonde sides and a pink front panel.
I was 17.
And I felt like such a bad ass.
Now I've got to have somewhat normal hair.
Because I work at Macys.
And they frown upon things like that.

10.) My favorite animal is a Sea Horse.

The sea horses life is a constant struggle to survive.
I got these two sea horses tattooed on my inner fore arms above my fathers initials and my own.
They mean everything to me.

I don't know why this image is upside down?!?!?
I had a really hard time the other day with my allergies.
My eyes were swollen and puffy.
So my boy friend got me a gel eye mask.
Which came with little "cucumber" slices with stuff to depuff your eyes.
And Organic Lollies!!
I also FINALLY got my Furniture Remix, Restyle, Refurnish DVD.
As well as a sample of some Origins moisturizer with SPF.
And one of the venders at work got me a gift.
It's a bottle of Sarah Jessica Parker's Eau Parfume In Covet.
It smells so nice.
I also got the BF a True Religion Duffle Bag,
And a new pair of BCBGeneration Black Ballet Flats for work.

This is what's inside the top side drawer.
All of my Mascaras and Brow pencils are together.
Next to that is my "TO BE DEPOTTED" container.
There's also my "everyday go to lashes" in this drawer.
As well as my everyday go to face makeup.
And eye lash curler.

This is where I keep random stuff.
My Brush roll.
Cotton Balls,
Makeup Wipes,
A brush,
A wash cloth,
And my eye mask.
There's also my Gucci Sunglasses in there.........
I don't know why there in there,
I guess I had no where else to put them???

This is the second drawer on the side.
This is where I keep my non-MAC lip glosses and lipsticks that don't have a home somewhere else,
And my single eye shadows,
As well as my "other" face products that I don't reach for on a regular basis.
And some other odds and ends.
Like Primers,
And back ups of some things.

This is the bottom drawer.
And the deepest drawer.
It's home to ALL of my MAC shadows and Lipstick and Lip Glosses.

I like all except Pink Sugar,
It's PURE Chunky Unattractive GLITTER.
With ZERO COLOR!!

WnW Color Icon Palette in Greed.
Great shadows.
But a the two shimmer shadows didn't show up.
???

WnW Color Icon Vanity Palette.
I think a FEW of these colors could be dupes of Urban Decay Shadows.
And a couple MAC shadows.

I'm wearing Revlon's Nail Enamel in Minted.
I compared it to MAC's new Quite Cute polish.
And it's a bit more green,
There's is a hint more blue.
But for the price it's an AWESOME dupe.
And doesn't streak as much!!

I havn't tried the WnW Blazed polish yet.
I think it's a beautiful BRIGHT Coral Color.
Which will be PERFECT for the Summer!!

Life Update!!

The move went well.
I started working Saturday.

We went to the mall today and I picked up these two sets of Makeup Wipes.
Both made in Korea.
The smaller one is Travel Sized.
Price $1.80 USD.
The bigger one is Lavender Scented.
Price $2.80.
I havn't gotten a chance to try them out yet but I will be doing a review on them soon.
So look out for that!!

This is a look I did a couple of days ago using my Wet n Wild Color Icon Petal Pusher Palette.
I was just messing around with it.
Nothing too serious or fancy.

1. BONNAROO.

I went to Bonnaroo last year,
And totally loved it!!

Such a great time with so many great people.

2. ROLLER DERBY.

I LOVE MY ROLLER DERBY LEAGUE!!
We're growing so fast.

And learning so quickly.

I love all of my roller girls.

3. BLUE HAIR.

Always had a thing for Blue Hair.

I used to have blue hair when I went to cosmetology school.

But now that I'm in the real world kind of can't do that anymore.

4. PEACE.

I'm a lover not a fighter.

And I wish that people would just stop before they act sometimes.

So that they realize what there doing to people.

It's so cruel!!

5. TEACUPS.

I think I've always had an obsession with Teacups.

Even as a young girl I loved to drink everything out of them.

Red Bank Roller Vixens at the Highlands Parade.

Today the Red Bank Roller Vixens [[ The Roller Derby League I'm In. ]] were in the Highlands Parade!!
In Atlantic Highlands, NJ.

While Staci's kids and I held the banner.
It was a lot of fun and I can't wait to do more events with these great girls.

1. Tipi's

What isn't there to love about Tipi's??
As a child I would always make them in the backyard in the summer.
My dad would always help me make the coolest ones.
With vintage sheets that they had.
I wish I had pictures of them.

2. Feather Head Dresses

Feather head dresses make me think of Summer.
I love there details.
And how beautifully women dance in them.

Mason Jars mean three things to me::
Porch Beers , Sun Tea , && Homemade Fruit Preserves.
All of which are a sign of Summer.

I've always had a love for Peacocks.
I love the beautiful colors of there feathers.

PROS::It's a lot of product for such a low price.
The color's are very pigmented and easily blend.
The color's also aren't chalky feeling at all.
You can create a lot of looks with this one palette.
It's ONLY $4.99!!

CONS::The two complaints I have about this palette are that,
A) It's kind of HUGE.
And
B) There hard to find!!

I've got 5 now.
There perfect for keeping in your purse.
For on the run "what gloss should I bring??" moments.
I really like that there so inexpensive.
Yet WORK.
Which is almost NEVER the case.
I defos will be buying more of them!!
I want to get the entire collection of them!!

Well those are my short but sweet reviews.
I've noticed that I never don't like a product.
Probably because I don't buy a product I don't like??
I don't know.

Saturday my league and I are going to the Keyport Parade!!
One of the league members was nice enough to pick up a tutu and little undies as well as tights for me to wear.

I personally LOVE the Magical Mushroom Bubble Bar.

PROS::
The scent is light and extremely fragranced, Yet very pleasent.
I enjoy that it's two scents in one. [[ Strawberry // Vanilla ]]
It leaves a nice scent on my skin.
Which lasts a long time after my bath is over.
The bubbles it produces even with half a shroom is insane!!
I love that it moisturizes my skin and doesn't dry it out.
I like that it makes the water a nice light pink color.
I also light that it's only $4.95 [[plus tax]] in NYC.

CONS::
The only one I can think of is that it's special edition.
So I can only get it around Valentines day.
Which means I have to buy 4 and split them in half to make them last me.

This is the look I created using the Lust Palette.
I think it came out decent.
I like that with these palettes you get a mix of Matte and Shimmer Shades.
I realized as I was creating this look that most of these colors are MAC Dupes.

First up is OPI's Done Out In Deco.
I love this nail polish!!
It's my go to polish for Spring && Summer.

Next is Wet n Wild Color Icon Trios.
I've been using these sooo much lately.
There so easy to blend,
And color payoff is awesome.

Moving on we have The All Natural Face Mineral Makeup.
I have a bunch of there eye shadow samples.
And love there color range.
As well as easy blending.
And color pay off.

ELF Eye Liner Pens are AWESOME!!
There affordable.
Easy to use.
They don't dry out quickly.
And are smudge proof!!

MAC Dazzle Lash Mascaras are my go to mascaras.
The small brush makes it easy to coat every lash.
Added bonus??
They don't flake!!

LUSH Magical Mushroom Bubble Bars!!
What's not to love??
They smell great.
They leave your skin feeling soft.
And they make the water PINK!!

Only downside is that there only available around Valentines Day.

NYC Trip With Some Friends.

Saturday a few of my Roller Derby Girls and I took a trip to Brooklyn, NY.
To get me my Riedell R3 skates from Five Stride Skate Shop.
:)

A few shots from the train to Manhattan.

Once we got to Manhattan we walked around a bit.

Where we ended up at the FIT Museum.
We saw two exhibits.
The His & Her Exhibit.
And the Tokyo Now Exhibit.
We couldn't take photo's there but I found some online from the Tokyo Now Exhibit.

After we left the FIT Museum we were all a bit hungry.
So we went to Whole Foods.
Where they were having there Saturday Smackdown.
Which is a department competition.
This time it was Passion Fruit.
I got two recipes.
One being Passion Fruit Dressing.
The other being Coconut Crusted Tilapia.
Those were our favorites!!

Then we stumbled upon a GREAT sushi place.

Nancy's first time using chopsticks.
She got the Kiss & Fire Roll.

I was really enjoying my sushi!!
I got the Vegetarian Delight Roll.
SOOOOOOOO Good.
I've never had it with Avocado on the outside though.

Everyone's cell phones and green teas. :)

After lunch we hopped on the subway to Brooklyn.
Then we got to Five Stride Skate Shop!!

I was so nervous to be back on skates after not being on them for almost 5 years!!
I was ok once I got home though.

After the skate shop adventure we stopped into Meeker Street Inside Flea Market.
Man that place is awesome!!
We found all sorts of neat stuff there!!
I'm defos going back soon.

I really want to go back and get one of these trunks.
To make it into a bench.

All in all it was a great day!!

Gumby thinks so at least!!

Today I went and got my gear for Roller Derby.
I got a Helmet,
Knee Pads,
And Elbow Pads.
I'm going to get my Wrist Guards tomorrow.

MY NEW BABIES!!!

I found these beauties at a Record Show and Flea Market in Asbury Park, NJ from a friend for $15.00!!

The best part is that they were exactly my size!!

And there VINTAGE ENGLISH MADE!!
Which if you love Doc Martins you'd know what I'm talking about.

I bought this skirt at the Consignment Shop down the street.

It's by LUX.

And the perfect length for Spring!!

But light weight enough for Summer.

The BF got this for me to cheer me up today.
[[ He love's Pez He-He-He ]]

Just a few shots my mom took while at the bar with my parents for a drink.
Nothing too spectacular.

I went to the Pharmacy today and noticed they had the Wet n Wild Color Icon Line.
I didn't pick anything up yet.

Since I'm still trying to use what I've got.

Belated Valentines Day Post &&& NYC LUSH HAUL!!!

Happy Belated Valentine's Day everyone.

So sorry for my belated post.
I ended up going to NYC with my father, Aunt and cousin today.
To be in the audience for the Dr. Oz. Show!!!
[[ Of course I went to LUSH And got some goodies too while I was there. He-He-He ]]

Yesterday [[Feb. 14th]] the BF and I went to the Jenkinsons Aquarium.
I haven't been there in YEARS!!
But it's still just as fun as I remember it when I was a little kid.
:)

There's me with the Despicable he won me at the arcade.

These frogs amaze me.

There so small yet so poisonous.
It's really neat actually.

These alligators where small but still scared me.
I'm not a fan of much of anything that can swim after me then chase me on land!!

I just don't want to be eaten!!

The lighting was all wonky.

There's a funny story about this seal.

Her name is Lucile the Seal.
You can't see it in the picture but one of her eyes is messed up.
She has been in this aquarium since my brother and I were little kids!!

She was in an accident and rescued and brought to the aquarium.
And has lived happily ever since.

Crabs and Turtles.

And my favorite,
The Sea Horses!!
I was so excited to see them.
I knelt and watched them for a good 20 minutes.

All in all it was a great time.
The weather was great.
The company was even greater.
:)

It's my anti-gravity Despicable!!

The card and chocolate the BF got me.
And the two Valentines and one Easter Hello Kitty he got me.
As well as the mini rose bush.

Yesterday the BF and I went to the mall,

I ended up picking up a few things.

At Charlotte Ruse I found a pair of sequined shorts for $4.99!!!

There a bit big but I can take them in,

And for $4.99 I could afford to alter them a bit.

Hot Topics Clearance section for makeup is AWESOME!!

I found this nail polish set for .98.

And this little monster thing is actually an eye shadow palette.

It's very knock off tokidoki.

But without the price tag at $1.98!!

Theres even a little compartment under the eye shadows like the tokidoki ones!!

How strange??

It's opaque in two coats,

And drys fairly fast.

It's very wearable for everyday looks.

Knock On Wood is probly going to be the look I use for Valentines day.
It's got that sultry mystrious feel to it.

I'm Getting Sunburned is more of a going out palette.

Because it's got a lot more glitter then the rest.

Spoiled Brat.

Spoiled Brat is def. for an edgyer look.

All in all these shadows are a good buy for a great price.
Quaility is very high for a drug store brand.
Packaging is simple yet useful.

Wet n Wild Blusher in Mellow Wine.

I got this blusher to use as a contour blush.
I havn't used it as that yet.
But it is very smooth and blendable.
As well as buildable.

ProFusion Lipglosses in 04, 09, 06

I bough these lipglosses on a whim,
They were super cheap.
For a buck each.

I was very surprised with these.
They are a very good product actually.
The gloss doesn't have that weird plastic smell some cheapo lipglosses do.
It isn't sticky at all.
It stays put for awhile.
And the color pay off is great as well.

All in all I'd buy all of these products agian.

A few months ago I made a pledge to myself,
To no longer buy cloths//shoes//etc. unless it was thrifted,
This as late Spring early Summer,
And I have stuck to this pretty much.

But I've realized that I need to focus better,
Not only on what I want to get,
But also how much I get.

I moved into a new apartment almost 3 months ago,
And still have yet to move ALL OF MY WARDROBE IN!!
I still have to go through everything,
Let go of somethings.
And realize what I actually need instead of what I want at that moment.

So I'm repledging this.
And I'm putting myself on a spending allowance for each month.
I'm not sure how much it will be yet.
But it won't be over $75.00 I don't think.

Walgreens Haul +++ Teacup Candles Tutourial.

Today I went to Walgreens to look for some foundation.

I wanted to pick up the Fit Me one,

But they didn't have my shade.

So I purchased the Revlons Photo Ready foundation instead.

They were having a buy one get one half off deal so I got two.

One in 003 Shell,

And one in 005 Natural Beige.

I also spotted the Wet n Wild Color Icon Trios.

These were half off $2.99!!

So I picked up four in::

Sweet As Candy,

I'm Getting Sunburned,

Knock On Wood,

And Spoiled Brat.

There Color Icon Blusher was also half off,

So I picked up Mellow Wine.

I also picked up three ProFusion Lipglosses in 04, 06, and 09.

For 99 cents each.

Yesterday my boy friend and I desided to make some Teacup Candles.

To use the teacups we had been given in a dish set.

Here's how to do it::

Materials::

•paraffin wax

teacup - the older and/or prettier the better

wick

wick holder (little round metal thingy)

scissors

pliers or crimping tool

wooden skewer or stick

coffee can and large pan, or double boiler

oven mitts or potholders

Instrustions::

1. Melt wax or old candle stubs in a double boiler or coffee can in a pan of water.

2. Place wick into cup and cut to length, allowing for 1-2 inch for tying around a stick.

3. Insert wick into wick holder and crimp to hold.

4. Place wick into center cup and hold with a stick across width of cup to hold the wick in place.

5. Pour melted wax into cup (while wearing oven mitts or potholders to prevent burns)

6. Make sure wick is still centered, adjust if necessary, and allow wax to cool

7. Trim wick

Now you've got beautiful Teacup Candles!!

I've actually been thinking about making a bunch of these and selling them!!

Eco-Hauling!!!

I also wanted to thank everyone of you who commented on my last blog post about my hair.

Everyone seems to love it!!

I love the magazine Vegetarian Times.

It's been my go to for so many recipes and information for years.

I also got two more China Glaze Polishes.

From the Halloween Collection,
In Mummy May I,

And Zombie Zest.

My mother got some freebies and passed them on to me.

First of which was the new Tooth Paste samples from Toms Of Maine in Wicked Fresh.

The second being a Nike Brand anti reflective len cleaner and cloth.

And third being a Nike Brand BPA Free 28 oz. watter bottle.

I was really excited to get this water bottle because I know how bad BPA's are.

Don't know about BPA's??

BPA stands for bisphenol A. BPA is an industrial chemical that has been used to make certain plastics and resins since the 1960s.

In particular, BPA is found in polycarbonate plastics and epoxy resins. Polycarbonate plastics are often used in containers that store food and beverages, such as water bottles, and baby bottles and cups. They may also be used in toys and other consumer goods. Epoxy resins can be used to coat the inside of metal products, such as food cans, baby formula cans, bottle tops and water supply lines. Some dental sealants and composites also may contain BPA. And certain thermal paper products, such as cash register receipts, may contain BPA.

Some research has shown that BPA can seep into food or beverages from containers that are made with BPA or into your body when you handle products made with BPA. BPA remains controversial, and research studies are continuing. The American Chemistry Council, an association that represents plastics manufacturers, contends that BPA poses no risk to human health.

But the National Toxicology Program at the Department of Health and Human Services says it has "some concern" about the possible health effects of BPA on the brain, behavior and prostate gland of fetuses, infants and children. This level of concern is midway on its five-level scale, which ranges from serious to negligible. The Food and Drug Administration now shares this level of concern and is taking steps to reduce human exposure to BPA in the food supply by finding alternatives to BPA in food containers.

In the meantime, if you're concerned about BPA, you can take steps to minimize your exposure by:

■Seeking out BPA-free products. This may not always be easy to do, of course. Some manufacturers label their products as BPA-free. If a product isn't labeled, keep in mind that most aluminum cans or bottles have linings that contain BPA, while steel bottles or cans don't. Polycarbonate plastic is generally hard, clear, lightweight plastic. It often has the No. 7 recycling symbol on the bottom.

■Microwave cautiously. The National Toxicology Program advises against microwaving polycarbonate plastics, although the American Chemistry Council says this is safe. The plastics can break down over time, possibly causing BPA to leach into food.

■Wash safely. The National Toxicology Program advises against washing polycarbonate plastics in the dishwasher using harsh detergents, although the American Chemistry Council says this is safe.

■Use alternatives. Use glass, porcelain or stainless steel containers for hot foods and liquids instead of plastic containers.

■Cut back on cans. Reduce your use of canned foods since many cans are lined with BPA-containing resin.

New Year New Hair

I dyed it this morning.

I was sooooooo tired of the black // dark brown with blonde high lights.

It seemed so BLAHHH.

First Haulages Post Of The New Year!!

Before I get into this post,

I would like to thank each and everyone of you who wished me a Happy New Year.

As most of us know,

The beginning of the year is the time with most of the greatest sales!!
Everyone's returning things they got for Christas,
And using gift cards up.

So for us bargin hunters it's a great time to stock up on some things!!

I went to Sally's Beauty today to pick up some Red hair dye.
[[ Yes I' dyeing my hair agian!! EKKK. ]]
And spotted some really great deals.

First of which was these one liter bottle of Shampoo and Conditioner for $15.00 for BOTH.

I've used Hemps products before.
Like there lotions and such.
But I was curious about there shampoo and conditioners.
But at this price I think it's safe to gamble.

My good friend works at Sally's.

And let me in on the hidden treasures on the clearence rack!!
I got this gift set for HALF of the CLEARENCE price.

So 3 full size bottles for $2.49.

If that's not the deal of the centrury I don't know what is!!

Yesterday I went to the mall.
Because I went online and saw that Bath & Bodyworks was having there semi-annual sale.
Which is the only time that I can get the White Tea & Ginger Set.

So for $12.00 I got the entire set.
Plus a back up lotion.
Compared to over $40.00!!

We also picked up a Wallflower.
In Cinnamon & Clove Buds.
For $5.00 instead of almost $12.00.

We defos made out like bandits there too!!

Next was my consignment shop purchases.
Sorry the pictures are sideways.
For some reason I can't turn them!!!!!!

I picked up this really pretty lace top for layering in the warmer months.
I love the delicate detailing on it.
Perfect for dressing up or down.

Next I picked up a cream cropped long sleeve knitted sweater.

I thought this was another piece that will carry over well into when it's starting to get a bit warmer out.
I can just throw it on over a t-shirt and jeans and flats and be good to go.

This sweater I adore!!
It's by Free People.
But it's so long and cozy.
It's kind of thin but it's surprisingly warm.

This is also a Free People Knit top.

I saw the color and the neck line and was instantly in love!!

I wore it yesterday with my Black Forever21 skirt, lace print tights and docs!!

Such a cute outfit.

And last but not least I got an issue of Nylon.
My favorite fashion magazine.

Well those are my first hauls of 2011!!

It's that time of year agian,

The time to look back at our mistakes and achievements.

And try our best to learn from them as best we can.

This year has been a roller coaster for me.

I had a lot of rough patches,

But also a lot of great ones too.

I'm ending this year on a good note,

With a great guy by my side,

And with a new found hope for the future.

I've done and learned a lot this past year.

I went to my first huge music festival.

I met an awesome guy.

I moved into a new apartment.

I realized staying true to who I really am is the most important thing I can ever do.

And thank you to all of my followers.

My friends.

And my family.

Because without any of you I wouldn't be where I am today.

Jersey Shore Blizzard Aftermath 2010

We were pretty much snowed in for the past 4 days.

We're finally able to get out and around now though!!

NYC Trip ++ NOTD && FOTD

My father and I went to the city last Friday to return some shirts,
That we had gotten when we went to the King Tut Exhibit that were too small.
So while there we went to Rockafeller Center to see the tree.

After going to see the tree we walked back to 36th Street.
To go to The Gingerman Bar and got a few drinks and some soup.

All in all it was a good time.

An above the knee Free People Skirt,
I love the detailing on the waist and hem.

I got this velour cami since it's such a useful piece.
I can wear it with my new skirts.
Or with jeans and a wrap.
Plus I love the color combo.

I totally adore this Free People tie front long gauze cardigen.
Agian this I can wear with a bunch of different pieces.
It adds the right amount of romance to any outfit.

I am completely in love with this Free People sweater dress.
I wore it the other day with a tank top underneath,
A carmel long cardigen,
Black leggings with grey knit knee high socks,
And grey biker boots.

I've been dying to get my hands on a Velvet dress!!!

A few weeks ago I went Thrift Tripping with my mother.

I needed to buy a few new pieces for Autumn // Winter.
Here's what I found!!

Can you believe that?!?!??!

I love this heavy dress with a cropped cardigen with tights.
Such a versitile piece.

These two pieces I bought to alter.
I also bought a lace 2 piece set to use the fabric.

I surprisingly have a pair of BCBG heels that I thrifted when I was in high school that go perfectly with this outfit.

My Girlie Girl Lanie Gave me these sneakers yesterday.

I only own Chuck Taylors.

And a pair of High Top Nike Dunks which I use for work.

These are PERFECT for Fall and Winter in the city when I don't want to wear my Docs.

These are a pair of Vintage Sunglasses I won in a trivia game.

They needed screws in them.

So my mom fixed them for me at her job.

Such a nice mommy!!!

Now for my new PURPLE HAIR!!!!!!!!

For a friends birthday on Tuesday.

Autumn // Winter Hair, Skin, Nails Protection.

Autumn // Winter can be some of the most BRUTAL seasons on our hair skin and nails.

I start slathering on extra heavy moisturizers,

Spraying my hair with Oil at night.

Putting hand cream on,

EARLY.

Before the first frost comes.

Because there's nothing worse then trying to play CATCH UP once your hair skin and nails have gone south.

Figuratively of course.

My current favorites for keeping me well moisturizered are::

Johnathans IB Revitalizer Overnight Oil Treatment Spray.

I use this once a week in the Summer, Up to three times in the Winter.

Canyon Ranch Protect UVA // UVB SPF 30 Facial Moisturizer.

Just because its not Summer anymore doesn't mean you can stop protecting your skin from the sun girlies!!

APIVITA Basic Natural Oils Almond.

I use this after the showers when I exfoliate to keep my skin glowing, NOTHINGS WORSE THEN DULL WINTER SKIN!!!

Burt's Bee's Hand Salve.

I actually use this on my feet and legs. As well as my hands and elbows in the winter.

L'OCCITANE Creme Mains Dry Skin Hand Cream.

Oh how I love this product. I need to buy more. It works wonders in the middle of the Winter.

A MUST BUY!!!

Burt's Bee's Beeswax and Banana Hand Cream.

This is another one of my FAVS. I can throw it in my makeup case and have it whenever I need it.

Burt's Bee's Sun Protecting Lip Balm With Passion Fruit SPF 8.

I go through at least 5 of these and the regular one every Autumn // Winter.

There cheap and work well!!

Burt's Bee's Thoroughly Therapeutic Honey && Grapeseed Oil Hand Creme.

This stuff is great right after you give yourself a manicure. And you want to pamper yourself.

This is what you want. It smells good and it keeps your cuticles from cracking!!

Ojon Animated Styling Creme.

I use this mostly in the coldre months because it moisturizes my hair and has a non greasy feel to it.
