I'm back from Bonnaroo Music && Arts Festival in Tennessee!!!

I got home 2 days ago,

But have been too exhausted to do much of anything.

Other then sleep.

I got a wonderful package from the awesome Reva.

It's a combo Contest Prize // Birthday Present.

These cut offs were her's from the 80's and 90's.

I feel so blessed to now own them.

I will wear them with pride Reva!!

She included really cute patches.

Which I might add on to the Cut Offs.

Not sure yet though.

I'm going to make a hemp necklace out of this pendant for sure!!

Asian Beaded Bracelets && Hello Kitty Nail Polish,

Reva you know me too well!!

Two little tricket boxes.

Which I love.

I'm going to put them on top of my antique books.

An Asian Motif Sling Purse.

Now I don't need to search for one that's not like everyone elses!!

I adore this t-shirt.

It's one of my favorite faces to me.

Reva also included a light weight baby blue top.

And a Baby Pink Cami with cream lace detailing.

Those were all of my birthday presents.

Which I'm going to wear my Black Slip under.

It's prefect for going out to the bar in for sure!!

Recent Purchases:: Thrifting // Ebay

Today I stayed home from work with a head cold,

So when I went to go get some meds I stopped in the thrift store as well.

I got these knee socks from a seller on Ebay.

They've got all different colors,

But I desided to go with basic Grey and Black.

I found this Kensie Girl cardigen,

With Bow detailing on the pockets,

It's so soft too!!

I also found a BB Dakota Striped Denim Mini skirt.

Perfect for Nautical inspired outfits!!

I also found a light wash denim jacket.

Which is good for when I got down to the beach at night this Summer.

Anyone have any good finds lately??

Finally A Day Off.............

Hey everyone I just wanted to say sorry for my lack of posting last week.
I worked all week last night.
Making it hard for me to post anything.

Today is my day off.
Then it's back to work till the 15th.
Which is the wedding that I'm helping my father with.

I got to go pick up my Lay-Away stuff from the consignment shop today.
I was excited to finally get my Betseyville Bag && A&F distressed jeans.
I also found some accessories.
And put some more stuff on Lay-Away till next paycheck.
Since I went over there on my bike.
And wanted to bring some more stuff over there anyway this week.

These zipper accessories are hair ties//pins//brooches.

How neat is that??

I am in love with this ring.

It is also hand made.

And has a feather as the leave of the rose bud.

So cute!!

I got this necklace at a steal for only $3.00!!!

I also won Reva's giveaway.

So excited about that!!!

I can't wait to get my package!!

So what else have I been up to??

I completely redid my room.

I got rid of my futon.

Replacing it with a free standing hammock.

Which today I think I might make a cover for.

I also ripped up my rug.

I now have paint splattered hardwood floors.

Adventures In Thrifting:: Part 2

After work yesterday I went to pick up my things that were on hold at the WCS Thrift Store.
Those ladies were so nice.
I will definately be back in there.

I bought another slip.

I don't know what it is about slips.

They always tend to catch my eye.

I ffinally found a pair of ankle boots.

I only paid $7.00 for these!!

What a score!!

I also bought a silk scarf for $2.00.

I love this one.

I didn't get the belt.

Because I just wasn't feeling it afterwards.

I have desided that I'm going to buy myself a netbook for my birthday.

And a replica Balenciaga Handbag.

I know that it goes agianst my new rule.

But I desided that I was going to get it before the rule.

So it's still fair.

Right??

Adventure's In Thrifting:: Part 1.

I had the day off today.
So I desided to go thrifting.
I went to two different stores.
One is a thift store at the church down the street from my parents house.
The other is the Women & Childrens Services Thrift Shop.

I first went to the thrift store at the church.

I purchased this half slip to dye and silk screen something on.

And for only .50 it's worth it!!

I also got this silk && chiffon nightie romper for .50

I'm going to dye it a dusty rose color I think.

And for $1.00 I purchsed this silk Asian dress.

Then I went to the CFS Thrift Store.

And put a floral silk scarf,

A pair of Toffee Ankle Boots,

A medium brown belt with silver hardware,

And a grey lace && silk night slip,

On hold.

I rode my bike over there.

And forgot to bring my basket for my bike.

So I'm going to go back tomorrow after work and pick everything up.

I also think I found my party dress.

It's a white floral dress.

With bright water colored flowers on it.

Anyone done any good thrifting lately??

Finally New Shampoo && Conditioner +++ Consignment Shop Adventures.

I finally got new shampoo and conditioner.
It wasn't exactly the one I wanted.
But the price was reasonable.
And it's a pretty decent product from what I've tried thus far.
It's a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner.
Which hasn't made my hair heavy.
Or effected my color.
[[ YET ]]

I also brought some stuff to a consignment shop in my town.
When I went I saw a Betseyville bag I wanted.
But it was $38.00.
And I wasn't paying that at a consignment shop.

We went back today to bring more stuff.
[[ Yes I'm getting rid of a lot of my unneeded clothing!! ]]
And it was still there.
Still $38.00.

I'm going to go back this weekend.
Bring more stuff.
Check my balance.
And see how much it would be with my balance.
Let's hope it's still there when I go back!!
It's in PERFECT condition.
It seems to have never been used.
But I still refuse to pay that much for a bag at a consignment shop.
I'm sorry.

I own 3 Betseyville bags.
All of which I paid less then $25.00 for at RETAIL stores.
There is NO WAY I'm paying $38.00 at a CONSIGNMENT shop.

Anyway enough of that.
I think I'm going to start thrifting and swapping for all my cloths from now on.
There's not much reason for buying new things.
It's better for the enviroment.
And sure as hell better for my damn wallet.

So yeah that's my rant for the night.

Johnny Den's House Warming Party

All in all it was a good time.

I had to buy a new outfit for the occassion,

Everything I wore was new.

Well Thirfted actually but new for me!!

I got my entire outfit for $31.00 including my shoes.

They were the most expensive part of my outfit.

At $15.00 ON SALE at Payless.

There Jazz-esque flats.

Which looked great with my A&F skirt that I got from the second hand store for $8.00.

Compared to $60.00,

It still had the tags on it!!

EPIC SCORE!!!!

I also picked up a cream colored Hollister top for $4.00.

And a Forever 21 Lace top to go over it for another $4.00.

I harded up the look a bit by adding the black tights and cardigen.

I was feeling the vintage gypsy ballerina jazzish look.

By far one of my new favorite looks for sure.
