Vintage Inspired DIY Jewery Box.

I woke up early this morning.
Saw it was gross out.
And desided to clean out under my bed.
I found a shadow box I forgot I had.

I thought to myself this would make a GREAT vintage inspired jewelry box.
So I got started.

Supplies::
Unfinished Shadow Box.
Paint.
Paint Brushes.
Cardboard.
Fabric Glue.
Pages of a book.

Step 1:
Paint your shadow box a vintage-ish color.
Mine had been previously painted lavender.
So I kept the front lavender.
And painted the rest a "Dusty Blue".

Step 2::
Glue the pages of the book inside the shadow box.
As well as on the glass on the top.

Step 3::
Measure and cut carboard to fit into the shadow box.
To make different sized sections.

Step 4::
Cover each piece of cardboard in vintage or vintage inspired fabric.

Step 5::
Glue the pieces of cardboard together agian.
Creating seperate sections for different sized jewelry.

Step 6::
After everything is dried you can place your jewelry in your new vintage inspired jewelery box!!!

Christmas Haul Part 2 // Clothing && Accessories [[ ULTRA PIC HEAVY ]]

This is the second part of my 3 part Christmas Post.
I actually got more then what I have pictured.
I just happened to have worn the Extreme Skinny Black Jeans I got,
The Vampire Long Sleeve shirt,
And Brown Yoga Pants.



I got my Pink Leather!!!!!!!
I knew I had gotten it.
Because Betsey had knocked over the bag it was in while playing with the puppy.
And it fell out.
But YAYAYAYAYAY!!!!!!!!



I finally bought myself a Maxi Dress.
I got this at Old Navy on Clearence.



The sparkling Black and Pink Tunic my really close friend Robbie got for me from his job!!
It's so cute and I can't wait to wear it more!!
The Cardi had bottles of perfume, lipstick, and compacts on it.
My mother saw it online and HAD to go buy it for me in the store.
And the Black Sequin Beanie is for NEW YEARS EVE!!!!!!!!
Because I got my Sequin Leggings to go with my Leopard Coat Dress.



The Zebra Print High Waisted Tutu-esc Skirt is so awesome.
I can twirl in it all day!!
The other high wasited skirt I actually bought myself at Marshells.
And then there's my Sequin leggings.



BETSEY JOHNSON SOCKS GALORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I also got Hello Kitty Socks.
But work them already.
And a Betsey Belt which I left at my boy friends parents house.
As well as my new Leopard Tights.
Because who doesn't need MORE animal print tights?!?!?



Like my new "House Slipper Boots"??
Mikey's mother bought them for me.
Since my feet get cold at his parents house.



OVER THE KNEE BLACK FAUX SUEDE STUDDED BOOTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was not expecting these in the least either!!
I wanted a pair.
But havn't been able to find a pair that actually fit around my calves.
Since I'm so small.

And the other one My mother got me to decorate my new room.



I got a Hello Kitty Stocking!!!!!!!!!!!!
YAYAYAY!!
It goes with my Hello Kitty Drunken Christmas Tree.

And last but not least.
I got a new pair of sunglasses.
These aren't fake Ray-bans.
There the real deal!!!

So all in all I got a lot of great new stuff.
That I really needed or wanted.

And I have one more part to this haul series.
It's my Beauty Fix // My Pretty Sample Bag Haul.
I just have to wait for them to get here!!!

***Taking Woodstock***

Taking Woodstock come's out on 8/27-09.
And I am TOTALLY AMPED!!

So I desided to do a blog post with cloths and jewelry inspired by the 1960's and 1970's.
Because I am REALLY big into vintage.
And more and more I've noticed that a lot of vintage style things are coming into style.
Although I would much rather have the real thing.
But when I can't get the real thing there's always a cheaper alterative.
Since buying good condition vintage can get expensive.

Here are a few of my picks for "Taking Woodstock" inspired outfits::


I am totally in love with the whole Tye Dye effect on the top dress.
The bottom one just reminds me of being in the fields up in the montians dancing.


I fell in love with these cardigens and this swing jacket as soon as I saw them::



I love the detailing on these cardigens.
They feel so free spirited.
As well as care free.

This is the jewelry that I totally fell in loves with.
It's all so earthy and organic feeling.






Than I was looking at browsing the shoes section of the websites.
And found quite a few flats and sandles that seemed to be inspired by the 1960's and 1970's.
Which I thought was pretty killer.
Seeing as how I spend anywhere from $25.00 - $75.00 for vintage boots and sandles.
Here's a couple of my favorites.

I'm so sorry it's been awhile since I last posted in here.
I've been super busy.
Running around and such since I graduated school.

I've got to post photo's of all my new birthday goodies.
And do a review on a few things.

So this is to go along with my YouTube review of the Rusk Go Green flat Iron.

First of all I LOVE THIS FLAT IRON!!!
I have owned many flat irons before.
But none have worked as well as this one.

Plus IT'S ECO FRIENDLY!!!!
How sweet is that??
Yeah really!!

I got this at the IBS show last month.
[[ International Beauty Show. ]]
For $40.00.
It retails for over $100.00 I think.
Not too sure though!!

I adore that it's energy efficent.
It also goes up to 446 degrees F.
It's printed with Soy Based Ink.
The 1 inch plates are ceramic && turmine.

It's great for both long and short hair.
It works well to curl hair as well.
I've been using it to curl my hair for a week now.
And it holds the curl VERY WELL.
Without added product.

I have been using it with the Got2B Gaurdian Angel Heat Protector Flat Iron Spray.
This product works well.
It doesn't leave my hair looking OR feeling grease AT ALL.
Which was the problem with my other heat protector.
